The canopy is done!
I found this part of
the build very challenging.
It was very hard to do.
Nothing seamed to work
quite the way the plans
or photo guide described.
Plus I made a few costly
mistakes.
At first I thought my
latch mechanism worked
great, then when I got
the canopy and frame
installed it was all
jammed up.
One thing that was wrong
was that the inside canopy
L interfered with the latch
lever. I had to make some
adjustments to clear that.
Then there were several places
where the sheet metal screws
wanted the same space as the
cable.
Well I got past all that,
and it's not perfect, but
it's done.
