Reaming the Dowl Hole

I was surprised when I got parts to the bearing to figure out that I need the installation tool kit.
Instead of spending the money and more importantly the time to get the kit I went ahead and made my own fixtures.
This picture shows me using the home made drill guides to ream the dowl holes.
I drilled the guides to fit a 1/64 undersize drill and used it to drill the holes.
I then opened the holes up to the correct size for the reamer.
The guide was made from a scrap of 1" aluminum barstock.
