I'm using Confor Foam, from
HiTech Foams.
Here I'm shaping the blue
layer of the seat back.
Final Shaping is done
with a sanding disk in
my 6" grinder.
I did the rough shaping
with a bread knife.
Denise wasn't too happy
about that!
There's a little bit of
green foam under the blue
for lumbar support.
On top of the blue will
go the soft pink layer.
The stuff is suppose to
be extremely confortable
on long hauls and is
suppose to be able to
absorb a great deal of shock.
It also suppose to be flame
retardant.
