In this picutre I've applied the
seperating agent and I'm ready to
to start laying up the glass.
You can see I'm taking advantage
of my 2 table work station to
support the mold.
I simply slide the tables apart
a few inches.
I had read an article on
ch601.org about applying the
PVA release agent as a fine spray.
This method didn't work for me as
I couldn't get it consistent.
I then tried brushing it on.
Painting it on with a brush had
its own problems. For one it
would bead up on the waxed surface
leaving many bare spots.
I had to put it on in several light
coats. Eventually it covered the
surface.
Don't skip using a release agent
other than wax.
