I was sick when I took the top skin off and looked down to see this.
A slight bend in the board was the major contributor (beside my stupidity) that made the edge distances especially bad near the middle of the spar.
After sending this picture to Zenith I was surprised that they thought an acceptable fix would be to drill a second set of holes half way in between but further back toward the spar.
I opted to remove and replace the spar cap.
