Unlike the Aileron the flap is made perfectly parallel.
I had pre-drilled the skins per the layout in the drawings.
I then marked a center line on all the ribs.
I first drilled and clecoed the ribs to the flat short end.
With the flap top side down, I held the rib in place while observing the center line through the pre-drilled holes.
I also held the ribs down against the top of the flap skin as I drilled the first holes.
After getting the first holes drilled in the short side I lined the ribs up to the remaining holes.
I used a level to check both trailing and leading edges.
I shimmed things up to make up for the imperfections in my work bench and taped it with duct tape.
I used some rods to tweak the ribs into line with the holes.
Then I drilled it with the 3/32 drill and clecoed as I went.
Then I flipped it over and set it on the clecoes and did the other side, again checking for parallel.
I left the bottom row of holes undrilled where the hing goes until I was ready to align and drill the hing.
In the picture the hing has already been aligned and drilled.
