Simple Dimple Die

When I was ready to dimple the flap skins I wanted to use a rivet type dimple die.
I have one of these for 1/8 rivets that I bought from Aircraft Spruce.
They are very handy for tight places.
I spent quite a bit of time trying to find one on the web for #5 rivet to no avail.
So I made one from a flat head screw head that I drilled out a 64th over 1/8th.
The other side is just 1/4 thick piece of aluminum with that I've drilled through 1/8th and then counter sunk the desired size.
I worked well.
Before I dimpled the ribs I did a test to see if how well the factory dimple tool would mate with the home made job when riveted.
The test showed that it was better to mate the home made dimples to other home made ones, so I dimpled all the rib holes with my home made one.
For the really really tight places where I couldn't put a nail through the hole, I used a screw and nut in place of the nail and rivet puller.
This worked OK, but the screw would break after a couple of holes.
