I'm proud of how these access covers turned out.
The are held on by flat head screws using nutplates.
The nut plates are K1100-06's.
Something happened between the time I purchased the first batch from Aircraft Spruce and last month.
The price went from about 25 cents a piece to almost 2 dollars each!
I found a less expensive source, Van's Aircraft has them now for 58 cents a piece.
Still expensive, but I needed about a hundred to finish the plane.
Fifty eight dollars instead of 200 for less than a hand full of nuts was appreciated.
