Luckily the hole cutter I bought from Aircraft Spruce broke while I was making reinforcing rings for my gas tanks and I had to find a way to cut holes while I waited for parts for the store bought cutter.
So I made my own and to my surprise it works much better for cutting holes in sheet material up to .040. When ever I need a new diameter I just drill another hole for the pivot bolt.
